This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations, adherence of MRI safety rules, transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department's telephone, scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.
This position is eligible for a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus payable after successful completion of 90-days of employment. Responsibilities

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of required education to obtain registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for MRI.
Previous employment as a MRI Technologist preferred.
B. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association.
ARRT and BLS must be current at all times during employment. Must obtain ARRT credentials within one (1) year of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain ARRT and BLS status may result in termination of employment.
