As (Junior) Project Manager you will be supporting a variety of topics for our project with FIFAe - FIFA's gaming and esports division. Your tasks will include conceptualising new initiatives for FIFA's esports projects, executing communication activities, identifying new opportunities, supporting the operation of international tournaments and overseeing various social media and media tasks.
The ideal candidate should already have initial working experience in the field of sports, esports and/or gaming. Additional, theoretical or practical knowledge in communication, brand or business development is a big plus. Your profile will thrive with the project if you can be truly passionate about your job, open to continuously jumping into new emerging tasks and the willingness to bring in your own ideas in a fast-paced environment.
With our projects and our company approach, you have the opportunity to be flexible in terms of location and working hours during most periods of the year. Based in Germany, you will be able to work 100% remotely with flexible working hours. You should be able to travel internationally for meetings and events.
Your responsibilities might include:
Management of a media programme including writing media releases and articles, developing relationships with media outlets, facilitating interviews and handling remote or on-site media requests
Concept creation and project management for special initiatives
Project management for brand-related projects and marketing activities in event cities
Creative and strategic input on marketing, brand and communication-related activities
Support on overseeing and strengthening the communication efforts with and for international competitors and competitions
Business development activities to identify, explore and evaluate new opportunities including the creation of presentations and project plans
What you ideally bring to the table:
Completed apprenticeship or studies in the field of marketing, business, (e)sports or similar
First experience in communication, brand or business development ideally in the field of sports, esports or gaming
Excellent understanding of GenZ/Alpha and online communities as well as current trends
English native speaker beneficial, advanced English skills required, German optional
Basic knowledge of the sports, esports or gaming industries
Creativity and self-responsibility
Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Premier Pro or similar tools is a bonus
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
Experience in project management tools is a bonus
