Our work depends on a Database Administrator (DBA) II joining our team to support the CDC activities at Atlanta, GA. This work can be done locally, or supported remotely, with travel.
At GDIT, we put our people first. As a DBA supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to work on Agile Software Development. In this role, you will
- Create and manage database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, etc.
- Manage database security, including security audit reports
- Perform the database encryption that complies with federal encryption standards
- Do performance tuning and scalability planning
- Assess the existing data to migrate
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Social Science
4 Years of relevant experience
o Azure Synapse
o Azure Data Lake Gen 2
o Azure Data Factory
o ETL/Data Orchestration best practices
o Data Analytics (Python/R/Scala)
o Data Visualization with Power BI & Tableau
Ability to pass a government security investigation for Public Trust

The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
